Say hello to Rudolph, everyone’s favorite reindeer wreath!

While visions of turkey and ‘taters may be dancing in your head this week, I’m going to fast forward to the reindeer games. And let’s be honest, this Rudolph the Reindeer Wreath is a lot cuter than a turkey! To keep it easy, designer Debi Schmitz started with a purchased, pine wreath – easy enough! The full tutorial for the DIY Reindeer Wreath is over on StyrofoamCrafts.com, so be sure to check it out. (Debi also shared her Cozy, Plaid Christmas Wreath a few weeks ago, which was a favorite with many readers.)

Here’s Debi’s Cozy, Plaid Christmas Wreath. The glow from the battery-powered candles will warm up any dark, winter day.

Speaking of winter, we had our first snow of the season on Saturday, following a Friday that was an unseasonable 75°. Crazy! It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just two days away. Tomorrow, I’m making a mincemeat pie, my dad’s favorite, and I always add extra apples and raisins to the mix. What’s on your menu for the Thanksgiving feast?

I wish you a warm & cozy Thanksgiving day, surrounded by those you love. I’ll see you Friday with more reindeer fun & games!

Happy crafting, and happy Thanksgiving!

Sharon

Mmmmmm! Yummy menu, Barb. I’ve never had a maple cream pie. And speaking of pie, I hope there’s pie for breakfast at your house today! Thank you so much for your good thoughts, and I wish the same for you and your family. xo, Sharon

      • It is actually Black Pepper Maple Cream pie. When I first heard about it I thought YUCK! Pepper and maple syrup?!?! Then I ate a piece and fell head over heels in love with it! If you want the recipe I can pass it on to you. 🙂
No pie here till after Sunday. Son wanted to do it at his house and we worked it out that EVERYONE can make it. So excited to see everyone together! Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful!
