Pumpkins, acorns, pretty leaves and more: 20+ favorite ideas for fall crafts & décor, and we have a winner!

I like things organized, so I love how the new tab Craft & Décor Tutorials has all of the tutorials on Crafts ‘n Coffee sorted by holidays and seasons. When I can’t keep track of it all, this directory is like my auxiliary memory. When paging through the seasonal Craft & Décor projects the other day, I revisited so many beautiful projects from the past. Sometimes, these old favorites get buried, and I decided to showcase them again. Rather than calling them old, perhaps I should call them “classics”? I hope you’ll find a few classic favorites here, too. And read on for The Inspiration Giveaway winner.

Thank you to everyone who left suggestions and feedback in The Inspiration Giveaway. You are all the best, and I appreciate the time you took to stop by and comment. The winner in The Inspiration Giveaway is Kathy Ferguson. Please contact me, Kathy, for the details. It’s always hard to have just one winner, so I’m planning another Inspiration Giveaway soon – stay tuned. (UPDATE: Please contact me by end of day Sunday, October 4, Kathy, or I’ll have to pick another winner. 😦 Thank you!)

I have a little more news today . . . guess who will be stopping by later – Eileen Hull! You may remember she was in town last year for her Paper Trail adventures, and today, she’s stopping by on Paper Trail #7. Tonight, I’m attending a class she’s teaching at The Village Herb Shop and we’ll be making a few party crafts. I can’t wait! I don’t think many readers are local, but if you are in the Cleveland area, come on by!

What are you creating this weekend?

Craft on!

  1. Just followed a link from another site and found this wonderful post about all of these great ideas for fall projects! I am so thrilled to have found your site and even though I technically did not find this post on my own I am thrilled to continue to discover all of your fantastic ideas!

  2. Angie says:

Congrats to Kathy! My very fav of the above choices are the Deco Mesh Harvest Wreath and Pretty Paper Leaf Wreath. I have not yet tried crafting with the Mesh and it looks so easy! Love your new ideas!

    • Sharon says:

Thank you, Angie. You’ll have to try the deco mesh — it’s easy to use. I’m experimenting with another mesh product, too, and I hope to share that sometime soon (fingers crossed that it works!). Happy fall crafting! Sharon

  3. CraftyB says:

I definitely feel Fall in the air this morning and these crafts are on point! Love all of the different acorn designs, particularly the yo yo variety! The squirrels will be gathering acorns while we are enjoying festive stylized acorns inside.

  4. annehaun says:

What a wonderful collection of projects – love the wreaths. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Katiria says:

Congratulations Kathy!!! Sharon hope you have tons of fun with Eileen! I love that Deco Mesh & Shimmery, Paper Punch Fall Leaf Wreaths. They are my faves.
    Happy crafting

    • Sharon says:

Thanks! I’m heading over to see Eileen and help unload the camper in just a few minutes — I can’t wait! I just tried a new product — deco mesh tubing. Have you seen it and used it? It’s an easy material to work with, and so far I’ve decorated cones with it. I’ve seen the tubing the craft store chains. I hope you’re crafting this weekend, too, Katiria. Sharon

  6. How fun!! I think meeting Eileen would be a major life highlight!!! She seems like such a fun lady! Congratulations to Kathy! Enjoy your amazing prize package! I am green with envy!
You really need to stop showing me new craft ideas!! My list of to-dos is so long by now that I need to have days with 60 hours in them instead of 24.. I mean, a minute is 60 seconds, an hour is 60 minutes, SO….a day should be 60 hours! Right? I think so! LOL
Adding a few of these back to my list!! Have a great weekend!

    • Sharon says:

🙂 We could all use a few 60-hour days, that’s for sure! And how boring would it be if you had everything crossed off your list, right? When I see Eileen tonight, I’m going to suggest that she travel up your way. I am looking forward to my craft night! Craft on, Barb.
