How to make pretty Pomanders five different ways

Whether you’re looking for DIY wedding decorations, or you simply need a little springtime in your life (yes, please!), I’m sharing a video tutorial today that’s all about DIY Pomanders. You can make Pomanders with tulle, tissue paper, cupcake liners, felt, and of course, silk flowers. They’re not just for weddings and special occasions, either. Hang a few Pomanders in your windows to remind yourself that spring is coming (eventually . . .).

See how pretty they are?

How pretty would these be at a wedding or other special occasion?

This is the super-sized pomander I made a while back – it’s 40” in diameter. I used large, silk gerbera daisies to make it, and it was super-easy to do.

This is so pretty and colorful -- and 40" in diameter! Love this pomander.

This Pomander is bigger than your head!

And here’s Candie Cooper McCoart on the set, getting ready to show you how to make pomanders. Do you see my super-sized pomander up on the right?

Candie will show you lots of ways you can turn plain old balls of STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam into visions of springtime loveliness.

This is easy -- make beautiful pomanders from balls of STYROFOAM Brand Foam.

To make a Pomander, you’ll cover your ball of STYROFOAM Brand Foam with silk flowers, or tulle, tissue paper, felt, or even cupcake liners.

If you’re using silk flowers, you can use different colors and different flower varieties to change up how they’ll look.
