I spy eight, wiggle eye Halloween crafts for kids

Why are wiggle eyes so much fun? Like the round-up of wiggle eye Halloween crafts for kids that I found on Living Locurto. Except that Amy at Living Locurto calls them “googly eyes.” I’ve seen it both ways, and I confess that I don’t know if the proper first name for these moveable eyes is wiggle or googly. And I’m o.k. with that.

Amy from Living Locurto shares a tutorial for five, fun googly eye Halloween crafts.

Amy’s Halloween ideas are so fun and easy, and I also love that the materials are so basic and inexpensive. That’s what’s so great about kids’ crafts – you don’t need a lot of cash, just a few basic materials and lots of imagination.

For a few more Halloween kids’ craft ideas, check out the tribe of googly eye aliens designed by Dondi Richardson. Dondi shared her Wiggle Eye Aliens, Red Eyeball Alien and Eyeball Cluster Alien last year, and Halloween is the perfect time to revisit these otherworldly creatures.

I’m curious – what do you call these shakable, moveable eyes? Do you say wiggle eyes, googly eyes, or something else altogether?

Happy wiggle eye crafting.

P.S. I hope you’ve entered my giveaway for four Halloween craft magazines. Together, these magazines pack in hundreds of pages of creative Halloween ideas for children and adults. You have till midnight on Thursday, 10/4, to enter.
