Beckie Farrant of Infarrantly Creative is one of the creative minds behind our Amazing Wreaths Pinterest board. Today, Beckie unveils her back-to-school fall yarn wreath, packed with too-cute details. I also wanted to share two more fall wreaths I’ve admired – one wreath that will showcase your favorite photos or fall leaves, and a sunflower wreath that celebrates summer’s close.
Beckie’s yarn wreath uses a yellow yarn that’s a close match for a #2 pencil. Coincidence? I think not. Take a closer look at the flowers, too – Beckie made them from notebook paper and thumbtacks. The name badge is removable, so the classroom teacher can wear it when needed, and then return it to the wreath for safekeeping. Don’t miss Beckie’s tutorial so you can DIY one for your door or for a favorite teacher.
Kathy at Merriment Design showcases the beautiful colors of fall in her Urban Fall Wreath. You could easily change out the photos for each season, or perhaps for a special occasion. This would make a fun birthday wreath, too, displaying photos from the past year.
In fact, Kathy shows how easy it is to change up her wreath when she made her Paper & Fabric Leaf Wreath this year.
Alisha from Homemaking Honeys celebrates summer’s end with her Sunflowers & Burlap Wreath. If you start this one tonight, you’ll have a new wreath ready to hang by evening’s end!
I plan to share another cozy wreath tomorrow. And if you have a wreath you’d like to share, let me know and we can add it to our Amazing Wreaths Pinterest board. Or, if you’re still looking for a little autumn crafting inspiration, I hope you’ll check out this week’s giveaway.
Thanks for stopping in today.
