Summer Craft Boredom Buster: Tune in our Tutorial to Make Four Rockin’ Robot Crafts

Alas, this is our last summer boredom buster craft – and it’s a fun one! Our Rockin’ Robots are an exercise in creativity and repurposing – put the kids in charge of gathering materials they can use to “wire up” their robots – old watches, beads, bottle caps, or whatever little trinkets they’ve stashed away, can all be used to “activate” their contraptions.

Watch our video first for the basics, and then leave the details (and creativity) to the kids. They’ll explain how the coiled wire communicates with the mother ship, and the bottle cap laser gun blasts the bad guys. And the watch face? Why, it computes all math homework, of course!
