    Greetings from snowy New Hampshire!
Fallen in love with the fuzzy penguins! I need to make some for our Special Olympics volunteers this year. They “Penguin ‘plunge” into the freezing Atlantic Ocean to raise money each year for this wonderful organization the “Special Olympics”! I work at a hospital and the group of participants from there are called the ‘frozen sections’–each yr they rally and are able to make a large financial contribution to the special Olympics,

The penguins are PRECIOUS! One of the gifts I got my niece this year was an “adoption” of a penguin via a wildlife charity. They sent along a certificate and a cute penguin stuffie, but I think a couple of these penguin ornaments would make a great addition to the gift! Thanks for always having such fun and cute projects; I always look forward to them.

    Sharon,
I love the furry little animals. I need to make some of them for my one-yr old granddaughter. Planning on putting a small tree in her room with special keepsake ornaments (handmade) for her. Last year was the first yr. and it was precious. She turned 1 yr. in October.
    Blessings, Sharon

What a beautiful idea, Jane. You know she’ll cherish that tree and your handmade ornaments as she grows up. I would be honored if our ornaments were part of that tradition. Thank you for stopping by today, and a merry Christmas to you. Sharon
