More DIY Wall Art: Who would guess this “metal” art is really paper + foam discs?

As promised, here’s the variation of yesterday’s DIY Disc Wall Art. These DIY wall art designs look like metal artwork – no one will believe you made them from foam discs and textured paper. Your tools are scissors and glue – no metal cutters, torches, solder, etc. The tutorials, tips and tricks are all on StyrofoamCrafts.com.

The Techno Hip Metallic Wall Art looks incredibly high end. Textured papers are the secret, and Kathleen George purchased many of her papers on PaperArts.com. If the papers aren’t available in the exact color you want, no worries. When Kathleen wanted a slightly different color, or wanted to highlight the texture, she reached for her acrylic craft paints.

These textured papers are beautiful!

For a slightly different version, check out Kathleen’s Metallic Disc Wall Art. Again, textured papers work their magic and mimic metal. Kathleen used Krylon’s Brushed Metallic Finishes to create the metal look.

If you love the texture but not the color, use paints to achieve the look you want.

What’s hanging on your walls? Are you inspired to create something new this weekend?

Happy crafting.
