It’s Friday, and if you’re like me, you’re heading into your prime crafting time – the weekend. So, it’s the perfect time to revisit a couple of easy Valentine’s Day crafts from the past. These Valentine’s Day centerpiece ideas go together quickly, and show off your favorite scrapbook papers. In just an hour or two, you’ll have these little pretties displayed on your table or your mantel. The photos link to the tutorials, so you can click & go (but don’t miss the giveaway . . .).
On to the celebration . . . Earlier this week, when I was at the CHA Show (Craft & Hobby Industry Show), Crafts ‘n Coffee blew past a really big number – one million views! Wow, that’s a lot of views on this little blog. To thank you for making this happen, I’m having a giveaway. Crafts and coffee have to be part of it, don’t you think, and how about chocolate, too? So, to celebrate a big, one million views, I’m giving away the Crafts, Coffee & Chocolate prize package:
- The Valentine’s Day issues of Crafts ‘n things, Stitch Craft Create, and Simply Handmade
- A bag of Starbucks Coffee, Pike Place Roast
- A box of Ghirardelli chocolate squares
- And of course, I’ll add in one of our craft aprons, too.
For your chance to win the Crafts, Coffee & Chocolate prize package, please leave a comment below and tell me about your favorite craft on Crafts ‘n Coffee. Enter your comment by midnight, February 24, and I’ll announce the winner on Friday, February 25.
Thank you to each and every one of you who have helped Crafts ‘n Coffee reach this milestone. I hope you’ll join me in celebrating.
Happy crafting!

My favorite craft on Crafts ‘n Coffee was the Button Flower Bouquet

I love the cones and wreaths… I guess everyone has been saying that. but they truly are so fun and easy to make!!!
Although I am partial to snowmen crafts…I have enjoyed the recycled sweater projects and felted wool stuff. There were some very cute ornaments made with each of these materials! Keep the great ideas rolling!
Thank you, Lela. I have more plans for repurposing old sweaters, so check back in next week for a few fun ideas. Sharon

I am loving the valentine topiaries
I really liked the vintage valentine snowmen post but to be honest I enjoy reading it all. You have such neat ideas. I look forward to what is next! Thanks for the giveaway.
PS I forgot to say that I too love the Valentine Snowman project.
And then I saw the Valentine Topiary – and then the Blocks! !!!!
Thank You Sharon ~ You Rock
Topiaries and wreaths are my faves! I love the fact that they are so versatile and can be used for any occasion!
I love almost everything but topiaries just pull me in every time.
I love all the tree and topiary crafts you’ve presented…with just the right themes for the occasions! They are not just lovely.they are Do-able for less then experienced folks like myself. Thankyou!
I really like your Great Decor in a Flash — Without a Lot of Cash section
I love the “You’ll fall for this DIY Falling Leaves Wall Art” – Yes, you’re right I totally fell for it.
I’ve been wanting to bring the nature indoors but plants are out of the question – I have a “black thumb” but the Wall Art would make my home more relaxing with the wall art,
I hope you get a chance to try it! I know you’ll love it. Thanks for coming by today. Sharon
Congratulations Sharon on the number of views…you are awesome!! Can’t wait to check out the love blocks. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Bev.
I have enjoyed your craft ideas since I have found your site right before Christmas. I love the Valentine Trees, I have to make one! I also like your snowmen, I’m a big snowman fan. Will share one that I made on your facebook page.
I really enjoy your emails and ideas. Wish I could do crafts for a living like you do. I am heavy into sewing and quilting but can’t take my industrial sewing machine with me. I have so many UFOs but, these can be completed quickly. I am a CNA/HHA and do 12 hour shifts with grandmas and grandpas in their homes or ALF’s I can pack up one of these projects and take it with me to work on when they are napping. I have also purchased all the supplies and gone to ALF’s to hold a craft class. They are so pleased with themselves when they have a finished project. Nothing beats working with your hands and having something as beautiful as a craft to show for it.
Love crafting.
Donna
You’re right, Donna, I am lucky to do what I do for a living. Some days, it doesn’t leave me much time to make my own projects, tho! But none of us ever has enough time, do we? Thanks for stopping in, Donna.
I like the Pretty Garden Collage Wall Art re-imagined in fabrics the best
So glad you’re inspired! I love to see how crafters re-imagine/re-invent projects to suit their own tastes. It’s so creative! Thanks for stopping in. Sharon
I love the Paper Blossom eggs made with paint chips. There’s so many different arrangements and they can be made to display year-round! The quilling eggs are gorgeous too and don’t have to be limited to the ‘egg’ shape. And, you’re right, coffee DOES go well with crafting!! Love your site!!
Thank you, Laura, and thank you for following Crafts ‘n Coffee. It’s almost time to start thinking about eggs again, isn’t it? Where does the time go? Springtime, here we come!
I love the paper LOVE cubes! I’d be thrilled to win your give away. Thanks much for the chance. Happy Valentines Day!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you, too, Debbie. May the day bring you chocolate! Sharon

Thank you, Ellen. So glad you liked the Washi Tape Eggs. Is there anything you can’t do with Washi Tape? Such an easy way to dress up just about any surface.
That’s a hard question to answer! I love the snowmen crafts. Anything that has a vintage feel to it and uses paper clay I adore! That’s why I love Styrofoam so much, paper clay goes over it so nicely
I loved the Valentines Snowmen from the other day. And of course I would add paper clay to it
You could absolutely use paper clay for the snowman heads. I hope you’ll share photos of your projects made with paper clay + STYROFOAM Brand Foam. Happy crafting! Sharon
I love your crafts! The holiday crafts are fantastic, but Christmas is my favorite holiday – so, anything Christmas is going to be my number one favorite.
Thanks! I’ve been thinking about a “Christmas in July” feature for summertime. Your thoughts on this idea? Sharon

I liked the jack o’lanterns using orange tulle and small glass bowl. It was a quick easy craft for our family to create fall fun. I’m now looking for something to do for Valentine’s for a class group of 25 with a 30 minute time limit. Any suggestions?
O.K. Ladies, Sheila is looking for quick & easy class projects for Valentine’s Day — any ideas?? Please share!
I love most every one of the posted ideas but one of my favorite has to be the snowball/snowman heads all in a row. I made myself a set that day and have already made a few more for gifts. Love your posts!!
Hi Becca, I’m so happy to hear that you’ve made the Snowman Swag! Would you care to share a photo? I’d love to see them! Thanks. Sharon

I was looking through older posts and I think one of my favorite crafts on your blog is the Houndstooth Pumpkin Fall Wreath from Jen at Tatertots and Jello. Such a cute idea!
Thank you so much, Patty. I agree — that was a beautiful wreath, and the pumpkins and wool fabrics were perfect for fall. Enjoy your weekend! Sharon
I like the paper love cubes and I also like the Wreaths that you make.
Thank you, Mary. Rebekah Meier is a wonderful designer, and her LOVE cubes are so sweet!
I love topiaries. Especially ones made with candy.
I hear ya — what could be better than a candy craft (one for me and one for the topiary . . . etc.) Thanks, Donna. Sharon
All the crafts are wonderful!!!!!
Aww, thank you! Happy crafting. Sharon
CONGRATULATIONS ! ! ! ! I love so many of your crafts but one that comes to mind is a craft you showed one time that was a Bunny treat cup. It was a little bunny’s behind sticking out of a little cup and it was so cute, it still makes me smile.
I remember this one, too. So cute and simple — my kind of craft. Thanks for stopping in today, Katiria. Sharon
I just made the valentine topiary and it is gorgeous. This made such a cute decoration for a table decoration in my entrance foyer. Love your ideas!
Wow, Becky — I’d love to see it! Please share a photo of your topiary on our Facebook page. Thank you. Sharon
I would have to say anything with the styrofoam wreaths or cones. Having a blast seeing what can be done with them.
Thank you, Denise. The possibilities are endless, truly. Sharon
