Does your New Year’s resolution revolve around your home? If updating your home is on your 2013 “to-do” list, maybe this Garden Collage Wall Art will inspire you. Kathleen George designed this original DIY wall art with scrapbook papers, and I was excited to see how two bloggers re-imagined Kathleen’s original design with fabric, and in colors to match their own homes. (And btw, this DIY wall art is, ahem, pretty darn cheap to make.)
We’ll start with the original Garden Collage Wall Art made with scrapbook paper (above). The step-by-step tutorial for making this scrapbook paper wall art is on StyrofoamCrafts.com.

Amanda chose a yummy gray and raspberry pink palette when she created her own version of the Garden Collage Wall Art.
For a little more inspiration, look at how Amanda at the Raspberry Patch customized the wall art for her living room. She changed it up with a combination of gray and raspberry pink fabrics – pretty! In fact, she noted that the hardest part in making the wall art was selecting her fabrics.

Here’s the Garden Collage Wall Art again, this time in a bright gray and yellow combination designed by Tam at Sew Dang Cute Crafts.
Back in August of 2011, Tam from Sew Dang Cute Crafts was inspired to make her own Garden Collage Wall Art with fabrics. Tam was kind enough to share with her tutorial for making this pretty wall hanging.
The last few days I’ve been away at the CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) Trade Show. While I was gone, Crafts ‘n Coffee hit a really BIG milestone! Woot! I’m still catching up here from being gone for a few days, but I’m planning a little celebration, so stay tuned . . .
Is anyone planning to redecorate this year? I’m hoping to find the time to freshen up my family room this year. Please share your own home decor resolutions and maybe we can inspire each other!
Happy crafting.

What a fun way to decorate. I am hoping to re-do the craftroom and then start on my girls room.
Good luck with your decorating goals, Lisa! Sounds like a busy year. Sharon
