  1. Our Christmas tradition is for me to make many batches of my homemade cookies. I always make 7 different kinds and try 1 new variety each year to see if it’s a keeper. So far nothing good enough to replace any of the original 7!

On Christmas morning, I get up early and cinnamon buns. Then the kids get up and unwrap their gifts. Nothing like unwrapping a gift while eating a sweet treat!!

  7. Amy Pinion says:

The kids get together with their Memaw to bake and decorate cookies. My Mom and I used to make cheese balls and perculator punch. At church we have an ornament exchange.

Not so much of a tradition as we just started doing this last year, but having a table set up with different fondues and having neighbors over was awesome. A good time was had by all

We really don’t have a traditional sweet on Christmas. Please enter me for the giveaway. Maybe we will find something to make as a traditional sweet dessert.

  13. Birgit says:

    Hi Sharon,

I don’t have a favorite Christmas dessert, but ice cream is always great — even in deep winter! :) Moreover, I love butter cookies — simple yet simply delicious.

    Have a lovely Christmas time,
    Birgit

  14. Becca Christensen says:

What a fun and delicious book. Makes me hungry.

  15. Barbara MacAskill says:

I make homemade chocolate bowls and fill them with homemeade chocolate mousse and whipped cream! We add a few berries for color. It is a refreshing end to Christmas dinner. The best part is it only takes about 45 minutes from start to finish and I make it all the day before and assemble it while I drink my after dinner coffee. YUMMO!

  16. Valerie Cavuoto says:

OMG……I have got to try this……what an star at the Christmas table

  17. Sandy says:

I am celebrating the first Christmas with my first grandchild and will be giving him an ornament every Christmas.

  18. annehaun says:

Our favorite is a cookie tray heaping full of many, many different kinds of cookies.

  19. Jaan L of Tx says:

We seem to be a bit weird, we always have pudding, plain jane pudding every year. I try my best to get it decorated, but it never happens. My family loves pudding so much, that even whipped cream is neglected. So, one huge bowl of pudding with spoons in it. We just sit around talking about Christmas and munch away on the pudding.

  20. Helen Johnson says:

These are so cute and look so yummy. Thanks for the opportunity to win the book.

  21. Rebecca Disher says:

I love these these kinds of things. The Meringue Cookie tree reminds me so much of sea urchins and would wonderful in the summer for a bbq by the sea. The Chocolate Truffle could be used with a Valentines theme as well. Geez they all look so delectable! Yummmmm

  22. Theresa says:

Pumpkin cake with brown sugar & whipped cream frosting. Taste like pumpkin pie with out the crust. YUM

  23. Cindy says:

Oh forgot we make Christmas cookies every christmas the whole family gets together and we have a night of cookie making, music and fun! We have been doing this for the past 10 years
