How can I order this book I LOVE it!!!!
Hi Geri, I found this book in a store, but I also see it’s on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Dessert-Bouquets-CQ-Products/dp/1563834014/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1356320110&sr=1-1&keywords=dessert+bouquets. Enjoy! Sharon
IT would be soo cool to learn how to make those!
We like to bake and eat choc. chip cookies. So the cookies for Santa will be warm and fresh.
Mm-m-m-m–you’re making me hungry! Thanks for stopping in. Sharon
On Christmas morning, I get up early and cinnamon buns. Then the kids get up and unwrap their gifts. Nothing like unwrapping a gift while eating a sweet treat!!
The kids get together with their Memaw to bake and decorate cookies. My Mom and I used to make cheese balls and perculator punch. At church we have an ornament exchange.
All kind of cookies but this year it will be one of my daugther who will make cupcakes, cookies and meringue. She love to make them! And I appreciate it!
have a nice day
Cookies, cookies and more cookies
Yep, cookies are good! Thank you. Sharon
The meringue tree is pretty, but the chocolate truffle tree is pretty irresistible!
My family has cookies and candy for breakfast on Christmas morning. No, we don’t do that any other day of the year!
You sound like a pretty fun bunch, Melissa. Add a good cup of coffee to the mix and you’re good! Enjoy! Sharon
would love to win this book.
Not so much of a tradition as we just started doing this last year, but having a table set up with different fondues and having neighbors over was awesome. A good time was had by all
Than this opportunity on the book giveaway. (I like it, I want it )
ColleenB.
I love your idea of a neighborhood fondue party. I hope this does become a tradition for you all. Happy holidays to you, Colleen. Sharon
We really don’t have a traditional sweet on Christmas. Please enter me for the giveaway. Maybe we will find something to make as a traditional sweet dessert.
Paging through this book, I think the hard part will be finding just ONE that you want to make! It’s good to hear from you today, Violet. Sharon
Hi Sharon,
I don’t have a favorite Christmas dessert, but ice cream is always great — even in deep winter!
Moreover, I love butter cookies — simple yet simply delicious.
Have a lovely Christmas time,
Birgit
How about ice cream + a few butter cookies on the side, Birgit? Yum! A very merry Christmas to you and yours, too. And thank you. Sharon
What a fun and delicious book. Makes me hungry.
I make homemade chocolate bowls and fill them with homemeade chocolate mousse and whipped cream! We add a few berries for color. It is a refreshing end to Christmas dinner. The best part is it only takes about 45 minutes from start to finish and I make it all the day before and assemble it while I drink my after dinner coffee. YUMMO!
These sound beautiful and very special, Barbara. And I love the fact that they’re so easy to make. Enjoy every bite! Sharon
OMG……I have got to try this……what an star at the Christmas table
Indeed! These would make a beautiful hostess gift for a potluck meal, too. Thanks for stopping in, Valerie. Sharon
I am celebrating the first Christmas with my first grandchild and will be giving him an ornament every Christmas.
Congratulations, Sandy. What a wonderful tradition. Enjoy it all! Sharon
Our favorite is a cookie tray heaping full of many, many different kinds of cookies.
We usually have a lot of cookies, too, Anne. They’re almost as much fun to bake as they are to eat. Thanks! Sharon
We seem to be a bit weird, we always have pudding, plain jane pudding every year. I try my best to get it decorated, but it never happens. My family loves pudding so much, that even whipped cream is neglected. So, one huge bowl of pudding with spoons in it. We just sit around talking about Christmas and munch away on the pudding.
What a fun tradition, Jaan. And who wouldn’t love a big bowl of pudding? I think it’s a great idea. Thanks for sharing. Sharon
These are so cute and look so yummy. Thanks for the opportunity to win the book.
Thank you for stopping in, Helen. Happy Holidays! Sharon
I love these these kinds of things. The Meringue Cookie tree reminds me so much of sea urchins and would wonderful in the summer for a bbq by the sea. The Chocolate Truffle could be used with a Valentines theme as well. Geez they all look so delectable! Yummmmm
Thank you, Rebecca. You’re right, these would be wonderful for Valentine’s Day, too. Or, just about any day!
Sharon
Pumpkin cake with brown sugar & whipped cream frosting. Taste like pumpkin pie with out the crust. YUM
Yummy, indeed! Enjoy! Sharon
Oh forgot we make Christmas cookies every christmas the whole family gets together and we have a night of cookie making, music and fun! We have been doing this for the past 10 years
Sounds like a lot of fun, Cindy. Thanks for sharing. Sharon
I love this!! I would be thrilled to win!!
