Here’s the last Christmas topiary tree in this week’s Festival of Topiary Trees. Rebekah styled her Creamy Christmas Button Topiary differently than many I’ve seen, and the buttons are glued on, giving it a sleeker profile. Like all of the Christmas topiaries this week, you can change it up and adapt it to your Christmas color scheme.

To make a Creamy Christmas Button Topiary, you’ll need:
- STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam: Cone (Rebekah used a 9” cone)
- Buttons, assorted sizes
- Spackle
- Fine grit sandpaper
- Acrylic craft paint in cream
- Glittered snowflake or other tree topper
- Low-temp glue gun
- Tools needed: Paintbrush
To make a Creamy Christmas Button Topiary:
Arrange and glue on your buttons in a single layer.
1. Using your hands, spread a thin, even coat of spackle onto the cone. Let it dry completely. Gently sand with sandpaper till smooth.
2. Paint cone cream. Let dry.
3. Glue buttons onto cone, arranging them randomly. Continue, till cone is covered in a single layer of buttons.
4. Glue glittered snowflake to the top of the cone.
For a variation on a theme, check out the Blue Button Topiary and Red Button Topiary from last year. The buttons on these two topiaries are pinned on in several layers, creating a more textured button topiary. Make one, make two or make all three!

I love the vintage crepe paper topiary and plan to make one hopefully this week. I am so in to any thing that has a vintage look to it. Thank you for sharing all of these lovely topiaries this week…it has been very enjoyable.
