Our week at the beach continues, with Seashell Deco Spheres and Sea Glass Orbs made five different ways. In fact, you’ll see that two of these seashell crafts aren’t spheres at all and we’ve used foam eggs instead. So, here are today’s answers to the question “what am I going to do with all of these seashells?” (The photos link to the tutorials.)
Let’s start with the Seaside Eggs designed by Kathleen George (actually, Kathleen designed all of today’s seashell crafts.) One version is covered in seashells, and the other in sea glass.
Because the seashells and sea glass are adhered with tile adhesive, you’ll find that these withstand the elements. I’ve displayed these very same eggs in my garden year-round for years (6 years? 7?) and you can see that they look almost new.
For more beach lovelies, check out these Sea Glass & Sand Orbs.
These Seashell Spheres are a timeless classic.
See what happens when you position the seashells a little differently? The Deco Seashell Spheres really change up the look.
I really like the added dash of color from the glass marbles and beads on these colorful Seashell Spheres. Unfortunately, I don’t have a tutorial for these, but I think it would be easy enough to add these elements along with your seashells.
I’m curious — what do you do with the seashells, sea glass and other treasures you bring home from the beach?
Happy crafting!

What a neat idea. I’ll forward this to my sister as she lives by the beach and is always looking for something to do with the kids. Great ideas.
Thanks
Thanks for sharing our topiaries with your sister. Maybe she can collect some shells/sea glass for you, too!

These look good on bowling ball also did great job on these……Cokie17
Wow, that would be impressive (and heavy!). Thanks, Cookie.
I actually have 4 balls in my garden that have been there for about 3 years. One is a sea shell one from Florida beaches, and the other 3 are various mosaic ones. They have withstood the outdoors great.
They sound beautiful! Enjoy!
