I’m so excited today to host a guest tutorial with Jamielyn from I {heart} NapTime. I met Jamielyn at the CHA Show in January, and when she asked if she could write a guest post for Crafts ‘n Coffee, I said “absolutely!” Jamielyn is also one of the creative minds behind the Glitter Academy in Chandler, AZ, a one-night crafting extravaganza. Jamielyn is sharing one of the projects from the Glitter Academy – a springtime Yarn Wreath. If you’ve admired the Yarn Wreaths blooming all over the internet this spring, here’s your chance to make one!

Feel free to use the yarn and felt you already have in your stash. And when you're finished, hang your wreath with a tulle ribbon like Jamielyn did.
Hello Crafts ‘n Coffee fans! My name is Jamielyn from I {heart} NapTime and I’m so excited to be here today to share this fun tutorial to make your own Yarn Wreath. Here’s what you’ll need to get started: a 12” wreath of STYROFOAM Brand Foam; white yarn; pink, teal and green felt; scissors and a glue gun.
I love Jamielyn’s palette for this wreath – the bright felt flowers really pop against the white yarn. For more inspiration, be sure to visit Jamielyn at I {heart} NapTime.
Thank you so much, Jamielyn!
See you Friday with more springtime craft ideas.
Happy crafting!

Hi Cookie, I’ll check in with Jamielyn and find out for you. Thanks for checking in and asking. Sharon
Hi Cookie, the felt strips for the fringed flowers measure 4″ x 16″ before you fold them in half. Please let me know if you have any other questions. And, I hope you’ll share your wreath on the StyroCrafts Facebook page. Happy crafting! Sharon
What a neat idea. Love the flowers. They look so easy to make.
Thanks
I agree, Lisa. Jamielyn did a great job on her tutorial, and her pictures make it easy. Sharon
I LOVE her color combo, & I am loving all the wreaths I am seeing these days. I actually saw one with Velcro so you can change out colors & reposition. I’ve made one so far but my next one will be one to be repositioned. I can see red, white & blue…pastels for spring. The possibilities are endless. Thx for sharing!!
What a great idea, Marsha! I hope you’ll share your presto-change-o wreath on our Facebook page @StyroCrafts. Happy crafting! Sharon
