On Halloween night, are you the neighborhood’s haunted house? Every neighborhood has one, and in our neighborhood, it’s the corner house two blocks down the street. Each year, we make a point to drive by this looming, Victorian home to check out the ever changing, always creepy display. If you’re that home, or are just looking for a new idea, check out our three excellent tutorials for crafting Halloween tombstones from STYROFOAM Brand Foam.
A full moon hovers over our tombstone arrangement that’s perfect for a centerpiece or tabletop display. If you like a “spirited” display but you don’t want a full-size graveyard, this is the one for you. The Haunted Halloween Tombstone instructions are on StyrofoamCrafts.com.
For a more ambitious graveyard scene, Better Homes & Gardens has a step-by-step tutorial to create your own Midnight Merriment Tombstones. Mwahahaha . . .
Lowe’s also offers a tombstone tutorial for tombstones made from Blue* STYROFOAM Brand Insulation. (It’s all in the family – STYROFOAM Brand Insulation is also made by Dow.) So, check out Lowe’s most excellent tutorial for the Halloween Family Plot.
Now, what would you write on your tombstones? Finding the perfect epitaph is part of the fun. Here are a few ideas:
Ima Goner
Frank N. Stein
Got Worms
M.T. Tomb
I.L. Beabach
C.U. Sune
Berry D. Hatchet
What’s your favorite epitaph? Please share and add to our list.
Happy crafting haunting!

P.S. Please tune in again tomorrow for the Sizzix Fresh Vintage blog hop. This is my first blog hop ever and I’ll share a new Halloween & Christmas craft that I think you’ll like. See you Thursday!

he, he, good one! Thank you!
Those are so spooky. Gotta love ‘em. I wish the kids went trick or treatin’ around here.
What fun this would be.
Thanks
So sorry they don’t trick-or-treat in your neighborhood. It’s a night of fun for kids and adults! (Not to mention the candy haul . . .)
